With the opening of the Study Gallery, the last building block of the new permanent exhibition in the MUSEUM SCHLOSS FÜRSTENBERG has now been set. A good year after the reopening, the huge showcase cabinet enriches the museum with several thousand previously inaccessible works in a mystically staged room. In addition, the famous Reichmann Collection can also be seen in full for the first time. It is one of the most important and exquisite collections of historical FÜRSTENBERG porcelain.
Located in one of the oldest rooms of the castle, visitors are surrounded by a mysterious atmosphere – like in a treasure chamber. A central, seemingly endless glass cube fills the room, equipped with over a thousand porcelains. Whether precious figures from the 18th century, curious tools from the 19th century or rare design icons from the 20th century – the Study Gallery offers a true theatrum porcellanum.
