The Cologne-based artist has developed a very unusual approach to ceramics: with great humour and endless imagination, she develops found shards further in drawings and paintings. Fragments of cups, plates or pots suddenly become headgear, bath tubs or body parts. The play with transformation and distortion is tremendously appealing.
